While in Rome we had a tremendous time working with Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers as he taught lessons on the Church and the Holy Spirit. Here is some footage…
Please continue to keep our team in your prayers as we finalize everything over the next couple of weeks. God bless!
Our team recently returned from Rome where we spent 10 days filming lessons with Chris Stefanick and Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers. For our lesson on the Church, we worked closely with the Pontifical Council on Social Communications to gain access to various locations around St. Peter’s, including interior footage of the basilica while it was closed to the public. It’s an incredible blessing to be able to capture such striking images and have the opportunity to share them with the teens going through this program.
Here is some footage of a segment on Christ the King with Chris Stefanick…
In Lesson 2 of Chosen our topic is “What Makes Us Happy?” The first two lessons are designed to get teens to ask some big questions, and dig a bit deeper on what they really want out of life.
Lesson Three of Chosen deals with salvation history and the beauty of God’s creation. Here are some photos from our shoot with Father Mike Schmitz at Bushkill Falls in the Poconos, PA. It was an incredible setting to share the glory of creation and to introduce teens to the idea that they are part of “the story.”
For our sin and reconciliation lesson we used an archery analogy. The word “sin” comes from an Ancient Greek word that means to “miss the mark.” Check out what happens after the shoot when Jackie Francois shoots a bow and arrow for the first time…
The problem of evil and suffering is a big stumbling block for many teens on their faith journey. How could a loving God allow such things to exist in the world?
Our team spent a week in New Orleans filming lessons on redemptive suffering and prayer with Fr. Mark Toups. He touched on the reality of suffering, what teens can do when they experience it, but also how God is right there in the midst of it with them.
He also gave a powerful teaching on what prayer is, why it’s necessary, and how to incorporate prayer into their daily (hectic) lives. Here are some highlights…
We had a great shoot with Chris Stefanick covering Divine Revelation and the Intro for the “Who is Jesus?” lesson. Chris has incredible energy and is an expert at teaching kids the Faith. Check out some highlights…
